Meet the Gils
Disney-Inspired Merch Designers & Disney World Family Travel Bloggers

We're Jacki and Rudy Gil—a Disney-loving family with two princesses from Huntsville, Alabama, and the people behind Marceline Mercantile & Travel Co. We make original Disney-inspired merch and write honest trip guides, because real park people deserve both.
Jacki is the creative engine behind Marceline Mercantile. She designs every piece in the collection, writes the travel blog, and is the on-camera presence for the YouTube channel. Her design background means the merch has a perfect point— and her Disney obsession means every trip review is brutally honest.
She knows which EPCOT snacks are worth the walk, has a ranking of every festival, and will tell you exactly where to stand for the fireworks at no charge.
Rudy handles the business side and still maintains that his Genie+ strategy is flawless.
Marceline, Missouri: Walt Disney's Hometown & the Story Behind Our Name

Before there was Disney World, before there was Disneyland, before there was even a Disney dream — there was Marceline, Missouri. A small town where a boy named Walt grew up drawing, watching trains roll through, and falling in love with storytelling.
Marceline, Missouri is Walt Disney's hometown. He spent his formative years there on the family farm, and the town shaped nearly everything: Main Street U.S.A. is modeled after Marceline's downtown. The train that circles every Disney park is a tribute to the railroads Walt watched from his backyard. The sense of wonder he poured into every park — it all started there.
When we named this brand, we named it after that place. Not because it's a clever word — but because it says something about who we are and who we're for. If you know why Marceline, Missouri matters, you're our kind of Disney fan.
A Disney World Family Travel Blog Built by Real Park People

Jacki and Rudy Gil didn't stumble into the Disney space. We've been in it—genuinely, deeply, unapologetically—for years. Disney World isn't a bucket-list destination for us. It's a place we return to again and again because it's one of our favorite places on earth.
We've done rope drop and we've done late nights on Main Street. We've taken our girls for their first rides and watched their faces when they figured out that yes, it really is that good. We've navigated park hopping, every Lightning Lane strategy, dining reservation windows, and the question every family asks: Is it worth it?
"We started this brand because we wanted to share what we love honestly, specifically, and with a lot of opinions about where to stand for the fireworks."
We're not influencers pretending to have fun for a camera. We're a family that goes to Disney World because we want to—and then we come home and talk about it constantly. Marceline Mercantile is the natural extension of that: a place to share the trips, the tips, the gear, and the love. We're a Disney family blog and original merch shop rolled into one!
Home base: Huntsville, Alabama—but our hearts spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom. We're close enough to get to the parks multiple times a year, and we take full advantage.
Founded: Marceline Mercantile & Travel Co. launched in 2024, born out of a love for Disney that finally needed its own home—somewhere to sell the merch, share the trips, and find the rest of our people.
Original Disney-Inspired Apparel Designed for Real Park Days
Every piece in the Marceline Mercantile collection is designed by Jacki—a graphic designer for over 12 years with real taste and a real Annual Passholder opinion about what actually looks good at the parks.
01. Original, Not Generic
We don't reproduce Disney characters or slap a castle on a blank tee. Every design is an original—inspired by the culture, the feeling, and the fandom. Park people can tell the difference, and we design for them.
02. Designed to Wear There
Every piece we make is designed with the parks in mind: comfortable for long days, stylish enough to feel intentional, and specific enough that other Disney fans will notice. This merch belongs in the world it was made for.
03. Taste Over Trend
We're not chasing what's popular this month. Jacki brings a professional design background—plus years of park experience—to every collection. The result is merch with staying power and a point of view.
